Dr. Kali Simmonds

Dr. Kali Simmonds, N.D. is a licensed naturopathic doctor. She has been in private practice for 10 years at 34 Queen St. and is the owner of two health food stores called The Root Cellar. Kali received her Bachelor of Science Degree from U.P.E.I. in 1994. In 1998 she received her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, and was then licensed through NPLEX. She practiced in a multidisciplinary clinic with medical doctors, chiropractors, and massage therapists for 1 year before returning home to PEI in 1999. Kali and her husband Pat have 4 sons and a daughter. Dr. Simmonds’ enjoys working with her colleague and dear friend Dr. Lana McMurrer in Charlottetown.

Dr. Lana McMurrer

Dr. Lana McMurrer, N.D is a licensed naturopathic doctor. Dr. McMurrer, a native Islander born and raised in Stratford, graduated from U.P.E.I. in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. Always interested in nutrition and good health practices, Lana decided a career in naturopathy would give her the opportunity to help people achieve better health. In 2006 she received a Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto and is licensed through NPLEX. Dr. McMurrer maintains a general family practice which includes pediatrics to geriatrics. She uses a wide variety of therapies to treat the cause of disease, personalizing each treatment plan. Dr. McMurrer is in private practice with Dr. Kali Simmonds at 34 Queen Street in Charlottetown.
